Local Crafted Cheeses

Frew Mill Fire Cheese

Pasture Maid Creamery

$5.50 per 8 oz. block

The Dean family has been farming the same land continuously since 1867. They proudly pasture their cows, and always have. They value simple, “eatable” cheese that you don’t have to be a connoisseur to enjoy. As a result we stick to the classics: cheddar, colby, pepper jack, and a farmer’s style. We hope our cheeses can be an intro to the world of farmstead cheese that the whole family will enjoy!

The Pasture Maid Creamery creates four kinds of raw milk cheeses:

  • Kiss of Kerry – a Cheddar-like cheese
  • Frew Mill Fire – a hot Pepper Jack
  • The Homesteader – a Mozzarella type ($4.50 per 8oz.)
  • Meadow Delight – a Colby style cheese.
