Customer Appreciation Day
Held in the Fall, our customers have an opportunity to tour the farm, see the calves, meet with some of our other farm vendors, and pick up pumpkins and other fall décor. There are crafts and activities for the kids. You may even try your hand at the Pie Baking Contest! It’s a great time for some fun, food and fellowship on the farm!
Raw Milk Booth Display
Be on the lookout for our raw milk display. We like to spread the word about the goodness of our raw milk in our local community! We are also available for speaking at school agriculture events, and for farm tours.

South American Visitors on Le-Ara Farm
In June 2012, a group of South American business men and women visited our farm. Global Pittsburgh, in conjunction with PASA, sponsored the event. After being introduced to the cows by Lara Shields, the group heard about herd health from Dr. Gabriel Durkac. The group was treated to a hay ride to ‘the knob’(the highest point on the farm) for a beautiful view of the western Pennsylvania countryside. No visit to the farm is complete without food! Everyone feasted on cheeses, wines, fresh fruits with dulce de leche, and homemade ice cream and pies.
